AED is an international trade association representing companies involved in the distribution, rental and support of equipment used in construction, mining, forestry, power generation, agriculture and industrial applications.

Our 750 distributor member companies account for over $15 billion of annual sales of construction equipment and related supplies and services in the U.S. and Canada. Our average distributor member achieves over $20 million per year of revenues, and employs 90 people. Associated Equipment Distributors serves:

• Independent distributors of construction equipment and related equipment/products which provide sales/rentals, parts and service
• Manufacturers of construction and related equipment/products
• Firms that rent construction and related equipment
• Suppliers of business services, including finance, insurance, data processing and others
• Related industry trade associations

We enhance the ongoing success and profitability of our member companies and related constituencies by creating and providing high quality products, services and information, including:

• Knowledge and assistance in understanding and enhancing the evolving role of distributors in our markets, and where appropriate advocating favored approaches
