The companies mailing list is comprised of over 40,000 different names and is broken down into various categories to optimize it's growing customer base. The James G. Murphy Company's award winning advertising department is able to reach customers in any industry through brochures, trade magazines, local publishing, radio, television and via our web site. James G. Murphy is the founder of the company as well as an auctioneer. Jim is a past president of the 6,000+ member National Auctioneers Association and an inductee to the Auctioneer Hall of Fame. Tim Murphy is the President of the company and a member of the Certified Auctioneers Institute. Tim has a crew with over 50 years combined experience who are diversified in all of the different types of auctions that the company can perform to meet both the seller and the buyer's needs at any given time.

Andy Taylor, who heads the Oregon division of the James G. Murphy Company, and his staff, have over 60 years of experience in the forest products industry. With their combined appraisal & auction experience in dealing with asset recovery management, they have proven to be one of the most respected teams in the industry.

Julie Murphy-Rice, C.P.A., oversees the James G. Murphy Company's office and through the years has streamlined the operations of the company with a dedicated staff on hand to handle all aspects of the auction business before, during and after each auction.
