SCREEN USA Meets Dealers’ Demands with New Slinger Conveyor
SCREEN USA Inc., proud to be distinguished as the only U.S. Manufacturer of Portable Shaker Screens, Trommel Screens, and Starscreeners, has just debuted the “New” SCREEN USA TROM406HMSL to their dealer network last week. According to Rick Cohen, president of SCREEN USA, the TROM406HM has been our most popular screening plant as it fills a “niche” in the portable screening market. The SCREEN USA TROM406HM is designed for the small producers of compost and topsoil that desire an extremely portable screening plant. “ According to Cohen, the TROM406HM has all of the bells and whistles of the larger screening plants. The Trom406HM is equipped with a tipping grizzly to reject over sized material, variable speed 24” wide feeder, 42 blade pulverizer, and a 4’-0 diameter by 6’-0 long trommel screen. This highly portable screening plant can be towed behind a ¾ ton pick-up truck and can be set up in minutes.

This machine also has the fastest return on investment of any machine that I have sold. The screening plant can produce 60 yards per hour if kept fully fed; however, most producers achieve 30 yards per hour due to the handling of the finished material. The “New” SCREEN USA TROM406HMSL is now offered with a built-on 30” wide slinger conveyor that conveys the material 10 to feet away from the screening plant. This huge addition to the screening plant allows the operator to concentrate on feeding the machine to achieve the 60 yards per hour it can produce. In addition, this slinger conveyor allows the operator the option to windrow its screened material without touching the “overs pile”. Powered by a 35 HP Diesel Engine, the TROM406HMSL can now compete with the larger screening plants for a fraction of the cost. Verl Hostetter (PA / NJ Dealer) claims this addition will allow him to sell a great deal more screening plants in a slow economy. Customers need to screen but are not wanting to spend big dollars.
